Meet Sherron

My name is Sherron Fairbairn, and I am a professional artist living in Qualicum Beach, on Vancouver Island. Natural curiosity and passion in life allow me to express my love of colour with eloquent brush strokes in a variety of subjects and genres. A combination of my background in commercial art and my love of fine art has led me to my latest inspiration, plein air (painting outdoors); nature inspires me, it is my spiritual home. By capturing the essence of a subject, I strive to create meaningful and inspiring impressions. I work with watercolour, acrylic, and oil mediums for my art pieces.

Where it all began

As a kid, I loved to be in nature and would dream of being an artist. However my path to becoming an artist was not a straight line.
